The course completion card will be available within an hour of course and document completion via email. Please remember to claim your card. To do so follow these steps How to Claim Your AHA eCard Check your inbox for an email from “ecards@heart.org”. Please note the email may be in your SPAM or Junk folder. Open the email and click on the provided link “Click here to view your online eCard”. You will then be directed to the AHA eCard Student Landing. On this page, you will need to select your own security question and type an answer into the boxes provided. Click the circle next to “I Agree to the Terms of Use”. Click “Submit”. You will then be directed to the AHA eCard Student Survey Details. On this page, you will complete the course survey. Once you have completed the survey click “Submit”. You will then be directed to your current eCard. From this page, you can click “Print” to print a copy of your eCard. Please note eCards are not intended to be carried in your wallet. They are now accessible 24/7 online at www.heart.org/cpr/mycards and eCards can also be stored on your smartphone for 24/7 access.
A valid current provider card is required to take a renewal or update course.
You must first take the AHA online course for Heartsaver, BLS, ACLS, or PALS to take the skill session with us. You will be required to bring your Photo ID and Valid AHA Online Completion Certificate
NO, you are not required to being a textbook to class for skills session only. You just need to bring your Photo ID and Valid AHA Online Course Completion Certificate.
Yes! You will receive an American Heart Association Provider Completion Card that is good for two years.
The ACLS and PALS courses are designed for advanced healthcare providers. You will need to present a current AHA issued BLS card. Advanced life support students must be able to recognize the following basic rhythms, or will likely have a very difficult time passing the course: NSR, SB, ST, SVT, VF, VT, PEA, Asystole, Heart Blocks (all types). ACLS students are not expected to interpret a 12 lead EKG.
If you took the course with us, you can email us to replace your card. If you took the course with another training center you’ll need to contact them, or you can register for one of our courses and obtain a new card. There will be a fee for the service.

ACLS and PALS Courses do not teach rhythm strips or EKG because you are expected to know how to read basic EKG for the ACLS and PALS Courses.
Yes. ACLS and PALS courses are designed for Advanced healthcare Providers. You will need a current BLS card and be able to demonstrate CPR Skills. You will also need to know how to read basic EKG rhythms, and you’ll need to know relevant pharmacology.
